Description

This training session is designed for supervisors who are often the first to suspect workers may be impaired at work.  General discussion and review of use of the Impairment Checklist forms as well as a Q & A session. 

Presenter's Background

Marshall grew up in Saskatchewan and graduated from Yale in 1979 with a Degree in Administrative Science, with a concentration in Management and Policy.  He worked in Human Resources for his entire career.  Most of Marshall’s HR career has been spent in the private sector in potash mining, steel and pipe manufacturing, the forest industry and 2 years in the public sector in the NWT.  His experience has been in both Canada and the United States, in all facets of HR.

 

Marshall retired in 2017 as the Vice President, Human Resources with The Mosaic Company.  He was responsible for HR for the Potash Business Unit, leading a team of 32 HR professionals, with operations in Saskatchewan and New Mexico.
