Rodelle is a Chartered Professional in Human Resources and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree and a Master's degree in Business Administration from the Edwards School of Business, University of Saskatchewan, where she is also a sessional lecturer for classes in the human resources field.

Rodelle has a unique skillset and background, as she has worked on the shop floor as a metal fabricator, and also spent many years in mid- and senior-level roles within the manufacturing industry. Currently, Rodelle provides business support services to small organizations and is also involved in an electrical business within her family.
